Nearly There

In this update you will noticed I have increased magnification of parts of interest to the viewer. I want to ultimately print the magnifications separately and attach them to a final print to add more interest and overall aesthetic quality.

Comments? Concerns? Threats?

So I added some technical/viral like entities to the background of the portrait, hoping it will bring that underlying evil forth without being too forward. I am still debating on whether I should add a grunge/distressed-like environment and to what extent.

In the second image I chose to take away the tech tattoo like object because it was difficult to see and may not be recognizable to all viewers.

Progress!!!

So in our last crit we talked about how my fruits didn't seem vary vicious or scary. So I thought I would take it a step further as if the fruits and/or vegetables were making us do things or "acts" in this case that we would not normally do.

I want to do this using dyptchs where the first would be a portrait of how the organism took control and then the act it made a person commit.

Tell me what you think so far.

Warming Up..

So I have been able to find an abundant source of broken down computer scraps courtesy of Armodyne Computer Solutions. Most of my time has been spent breaking down the parts and engineering unique ways to photograph them.

However. *Speed Bump*
The batteries in my Canon SLR are dead and should be done charging this afternoon. In the mean time I was stuck with the 5.0 mgpx camera on my droid. Not my idea of good start. But it is a start.

Attack of the Super Foods

Thoughts for the Semester:
Last semester I focused on developing my previous style with the idea of genetics and cloning in mind. This semester I plan on expanding upon this idea of super foods and the impact they could and do have on the population of the world.

The style will be less like my other style and be more mixed media and photography based. Possibly even some kind of installation.
